The scientist...。1942年，日本侵略者对重庆的大轰炸已经进入了第四个年头。侵华日军总司令冈村宁次意外地得到一个情报：在重庆西南的古刹华岩寺中藏有一件镇寺之宝——《贝叶金经》，在这部经书中还隐藏了一个惊天秘密。如果得到了这个秘密就可以让日军轻而易举的消灭整个国民党政府，以实现其占领全中国的狼子野心。为了得到《贝叶金经》，冈村宁次精心策划了一次代号“阿波罗”的作战行动，他特别派遣了由日本浪人组成的日军王牌特工队“樱花小组”秘密潜入重庆，偷偷地把黑手伸向了西南第一古刹——华岩寺。通过各种渠道得知日军特工潜入重庆的消息后，为了粉碎日寇的阴谋，中共地下党组织、国民党中的爱国人士与华岩寺众僧侣与“樱花小组”展开了殊死搏斗，最后他们用鲜血和生命终于将《贝叶金经》完好无损地保护了下来。。
