外科医生张嘉儿（刘心悠饰）和Jessica、Amy是从小在孤儿院长大的好姐妹，走上社会后她们依然住在一起，亲密无间。某天，嘉儿接到律师的信，信中说她在马来西亚的嫲嫲（鲍起静饰）不久前离世，身后留给嘉儿一栋大宅作为遗产。小时候嘉儿在马来西亚住过，可是当她来到香港后却几乎忘记以前的事了。几经犹豫，嘉儿决定带着两个好友一同前往大马。在律师的安排下，三人来到了嫲嫲这栋古色古香的房子。 一切手续看起来十分顺利，可是诡异恐怖的事件接二连三地发生了。嫲嫲不在的房子里，似乎有什么东西四处游走，而嘉儿失落已久的记忆也渐渐恢复……。影片讲的是，忠厚本分的年轻人皮特是个泥瓦匠，他十分孝顺父母，还亲自为他们造了一所房子。然而父母对他的态度似乎并没有因此而好转。之后，他遇上了心爱的女人艾瑞卡。他们一起搬到了慕尼黑，然而，生活的重压，金钱上的困窘却让皮特这个年轻人渐渐改变，最终沦为了阶下囚，而这一切只是为了让妻子爱他…… 该片被一些评论家认为是莱纳尔·沃纳尔·法斯宾德的最佳电影代表作。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
