电视台记者周晓璐在一次车祸采访报道中，遇到不顾生命危险，多次为车祸中受伤女孩献血的农民工马贺群。随着采访的深入，周晓璐逐渐走进了农民工马贺群的生活，并决定用自己的力量帮助对方改变命运。。四个多年未见的大学同学聚会碰面，偶然中一部手机，里面有一条未发出的短信，提到有一笔钱在一所废弃学校里。他们不顾学校闹鬼的传闻和报导，夜闯废弃学校寻宝。随后发生了一系列灵异事件，同行伙伴相继失踪、死去……。Previously acclaimed for his essayistic documentaries, Philip Scheffner has now ventured into fiction.
