The poet Dante is lost in a dark and gloomy wood. At the summit of a mountain he sees the light of salvation. He endeavors to ascend to it, but his way is barred by three wild beasts, symbolizing Avarice, Pride and Lust. Virgil knows another way to go, ...。公元2026年，在浩淼的银河系中，有一颗住着机器人的行星——“ 哈帝星”，由于哈帝星科技高速发展，机器人社会即将面临能源短缺的危机。好在学究犀牛博士研究发现了一种叫做“ 梦多拉晶石”的宇宙物质，能作为哈帝星的补充能源。为解决哈帝星能源危机，红宝等机器人组成V5战队，执行追踪回收梦多拉晶石的任务。可惜新成立的V5战队第一次出任务就意外出错，导致梦多拉晶石坠入行星“地球”上，晶石碎片散落在一个名为“西童镇”的小城市。 V5战队由此肩负起到地球回收晶石的任务。。
