Knight Rider is a 2008 television film which was created to serve as a backdoor pilot for the new Knight Rider television series, a revival of the series of the same name which aired during the 1980s. This film does not refer to either the Knight Rider 2000 film or the Team Knight Rider television series.。私家侦探陆卓，为人自负，性格乐观，身手不凡。富商许承天之独女嘉欣，自从十六岁那年开始便恶运缠身。某日，嘉欣竟被人掳去，不知所踪，承天万分焦急，欲报警，却被继室莉莉和胞弟承坚阻止，遂决定聘请陆卓，寻觅嘉欣。为了慎重起见，承天委派属下张君令协助陆卓调查。二人本不咬弦，无奈看钱份上，唯有勉强合作，在侦查过程中，惹出不少笑话。。
