Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。慳家！一門現代人為上車，為買樓，不得不參透的生存絶學。在香港，要做到慳家可能是痛苦，是忍受，是迫於無奈，但在日本，要達成「花少了錢」同時「過得開心」這雙贏局面卻非難事。趁著日圓跌至廿年低位，曾經體驗過日本慳家生活的 Win Win，再次踏足這個出名食得平、買得抵的樂土，體驗各種平有平玩的地道玩意，全方位感受日本貼地抵玩的一面。。1941年抗日战争，日本侵略军军佐柳生美子带领的日军特别行动队，屡屡潜入我后方国统区恣意妄为，无辜百姓惨遭其害。中共党员刘成打入国民党政府军令部，巧妙利用国民党的资源，组建了一支和日本侵略军针锋相对的抗日力量，与敌人进行殊死较量。与组织失去联系，代号“白鸽”的中共地下党员薛敏担任队长，不断瓦解日军的阴谋。刘成和薛敏带领的这支队伍，在血与火的考验中不断成长，最终完成了抗日的英雄使命。。
