赵曼春在结婚前一夜和自己的男闺蜜以单身夜为由厮混。第二日，新郎张子豪来接亲，赵曼春和男闺蜜了防止张子豪发现两人昨夜偷情的证据，想尽办法阻止新郎靠近新娘。他们向张子豪索要巨额红包，不让新郎轻易拿到新娘的鞋，男闺蜜甚至要求代替新郎抱新娘上婚车。。本片由日本松竹电影公司于1979年拍摄，原著取自埃勒里·奎因的小说《灾难之城/凶镇》，侦探的名字也从埃勒里·奎因更名为罗伯特。 不过情节依然忠实于原著，并获得了当年日本学院奖和电影旬报奖（都是女配角奖，获奖者为小川真由美），该片首映时，丹奈（奎因两兄弟之一）还专程赶到日本出席仪式。The film documents the solitary existence of Jake, a man who lives in isolation in the middle of the forest in remote Scotland.
