影片讲述三个大学毕业不久的年轻人一起创立了一家影视公司。公司孤注一掷地拍摄了一部古装武侠电影，却在杀青日当晚弄丢了素材硬盘。制片人、导演、摄影师不得不在七天内重新拍摄一部电影交给投资方。为了完成这个“不可能的任务”， 三人绞尽脑汁、火线补拍，由此引发了一系列令人啼笑皆非的拍摄趣事。。本故事讲述了姐弟两个在姥姥家过暑假的过程，通过彼此之间的适应磨合，姥姥渐渐的适应了小朋友的生活方式，小朋友也感受到了姥姥对自己的关心与爱护，虽然过程充满艰辛但是结果使亲人之间懂得相互理解，小朋友们也开始长大，理解父母的辛苦关爱老人。。William Thornhill, an illiterate Thames bargeman and a man of quick temper but deep feelings, steals a load of timber and is transported to New South Wales in 1806.
