罗培滋自墨西哥移民到美国，过着典型的贫穷移民生活。一次偶然的机会，一个有钱人将一张一百万元支票借他运用，期满再归还。罗培滋因那一百万而取得信用，获得别人的信赖支持。最终拥有了属于自己的一家餐厅。。A young girl lives with her mother in an isolated mountain cabin. Mother dies, the girl also has a child. No father is present. A friendship is formed with another woman but things start to become twisted. Paranoia and delusions follow。
