故事发生在1920年代风云激荡的柏林，科学、文化、享乐主义的黄金年代。在上流社会沉浸在纸醉金迷的生活之时，黑暗的地下世界也暗流涌动。组织卖淫、贩毒、敲诈、抢劫…整个城市在黑恶势力的侵蚀下人心惶惶。只有一个人敢于与恶势力对抗。柏林1区的总警监Paul Lang，他无情地与犯罪团伙以及他们的新首领Immanues Tauss作斗争。在调查员们还用老思路办案时，有着参战经验的老兵Lang已经开始使用超越他时代的创新技术。一战给Lang留下了伤痕累累的过往，妻离子殁的Lang已无所畏惧。但在调查柏林最危险的案件的过程中，这场斗争却超乎了他的想象。。A Japanese ghost story adapted from Hearn's "Yuki-Onna"(Kwaidan). Two woodcutters, an old man and his young apprentice, Minokichi get trapped in a snowstorm in the forest and take refuge in a hut.
