解放初期，湘西匪患严重，国民党残党败部与当地土匪勾结，为害乡里，当地民众怨声载道。人民解放军剿匪小分队队长、人送外号“东北虎”的刘玉堂，带领剿匪小分队深入大山，和匪首田大榜、钻山豹、独眼聋以及国民党女特务四丫头等反动势力展开一连串殊死搏斗。剿匪小分队在付出巨大的牺牲之后，终于将匪患根绝。。宋时愿本是家世显赫的千金大小姐，在大学时倒追清贫学霸兼校草商鹤京，后因为家庭变故，家族公司倒闭，父母身亡，哥哥因为车祸成了植物人。为了不连累商鹤京，与他分手。五年后，商鹤京归国，为了追爱，他又争又抢。。Documentary which take as subject the Oberhausen Group and New German Cinema, and some of those who followed in their footsteps.
